After PS Of Senior Bureaucrat Attempted Suicide, Yogi Orders Review Of Security At Government Offices

Lucknow, Sep 1 (TNA) Following the attempted suicide by the personal secretary of a top ranking IAS officer at the Bapu Bhawan some days back, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday called for strengthening the security system of all sensitive government offices including the secretariat.

He also sought a report after thorough review of security arrangements to be done by the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), ADG Law and Order and the Sachivalaya Prashasan. Yogi also directed concerned officials to ensure that no one is allowed to enter these high-security premises carrying fire arms.

The PS who attempted suicide by shooting himself on the temple surprisingly carried a pistol without much problem into a government building which houses offices of many senior officers.
