A Dozen IPS Officials Transferred In Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, January 7 (TNA) On Tuesday, the Yogi government transferred 12 IPS officers. While in the morning 11 IAS officers were transferred, by evening, 12 IPS officers have also been transferred. SP Ganesh Saha of Lakhimpur Kheri has been removed. Saha, was recently in news for a tiff with a BJP lawmaker. Sankalp Sharma has been made the new SP of Lakhimpur Kheri in place of SP Ganesh Saha.

Mirzapur SP Abhinandan has also been removed. Now SP Abhinandan has been made the SP of Basti. Somen Verma has been made the new SP of Mirzapur in place of Abhinandan. SPs of eight districts have been transferred in the latest rejig.

IPS Somen Verma has been made Mirzapur SP, Amit Anand Amroha SP, Abhinandan Basti SP, Ganesh Saha has been named as the new Mainpuri SP. Abhimanyu Manglik is the new Bhadohi SP, Kunwar Anupam Singh has been transferred to Sultanpur as the new district police chief while Vinod Kumar has been made the new Kannauj SP.
