16 Senior Bureaucrats Transferred In UP, Amrit Abhijaat Is The New Urban Development Boss

Lucknow, MAy 2 (TNA) In its first major bureaucratic reshuffle in the Yogi 2.0, the Uttar Pradesh government late on Sunday transferred 16 senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials. While Sanjeev Mittal has been named the new head of the Revenue Board, Arvind Kumar has been given the additional charge of Industrial Development Commissioner.

Narendra Bhushan has been made the new principal secretary PWD, Meerut divisional commissioner Surendra Singh has been given additional charge of CEO Greater Noida, Nitin Ramesh Gokarn has been made Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Planning and Deepak Kumar has been named as the new Principal Secretary Basic Education.

Subhash Chandra Sharma has been made Principal Secretary Technical Education, Vocational Education and Skill Development, Sudhir Garg is the new principal secretary revenue. Additional Chief Secretary Rajnish Dubey has been eased out of Urban Development and sent to a relativelylight weight department of Milk Development, Fisheries, Livestock and Coordination Department.

Manoj Kumar Singh has been made Agriculture Production Commissioner along with Additional Chief Secretary, Village Development Panchayati Raj. Dynamic IAS officer Amrit Abhijat has been made the Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Urban Employment. Rajesh Kumar Singh became the Principal Secretary Horticulture and Food Processing Department while L Venkateswaralu has been named the principal secretary transport.

Neena Sharma has been sent as the Director of Uttar Pradesh Government and Management Academy, M Devraj has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary Energy and Radha S Chauhan has been made Additional Chief Secretary, Institutional Finance.
