Lucknow, May 27 (TNA) Department of Justice has issued orders for the appointment of lawyers on a total of 1623 posts including the much awaited Additional Advocate General, Chief Standing Counsel, Assistant Chief Standing Counsel, Brief Holder (BH) Civil, BH Criminal and Standing Counsel.

Vinod Kumar Shahi, Kuldeep Pati Tripathi, Ashok Shukla, Anil Pratap Singh, Vimal Srivastava have been appointed Additional Advocates General in Lucknow Bench.

Shailendra Kumar has been appointed as Chief Standing Council, Prashant Singh Patel as CSC-1, Deepshikha as CSC-2, Akhilesh Kumar Singh as CSC-3, Jyotsna Pal as CSC-4, Ajay Kumar Pandey as CSC-5 and Ravi Singh Sisodia as CSC-6. . 74 ACSC, 198 BH Civil, 195 BH Criminal, 187 Standing Counsel have been appointed. In the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court, three Additional Government Advocates have been appointed first, 28 Additional Government Advocates.

Ashok Mehta, Manish Goyal, Neeraj Tripathi, Mahesh Chandra Chaturvedi, V.K. Giri, Ajit Kumar Singh, Shiv Kumar Pal and PK Srivastava have been appointed as Additional Advocates General in the Allahabad High Court. Kunal Ravi Singh as Chief Standing Counsel, JN Maurya as CSC I, Rajeshwar Tripathi as CSC II, Manoj Kumar Singh as SSC III, Sheetla Prasad Goud as CSC IV, Alok Kumar Tripathi as CSC V, Vijay Shankar Mishra as SSC VI, Abhishek Srivastava has been appointed as CSC-7 and Bipin Bihari Pandey as CSC-8.

120 ACSC, 187 BH- CSC, 175 BH- Criminal, 330 Standing Counsel have been appointed. In the Allahabad High Court, 18 Additional Government Advocates have been appointed first, 107 Additional Government Advocates. Additional Advocate General Manish Goyal has been given the additional charge of Government Advocate in the Allahabad High Court.
