Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu Tests COVID Positive

NEW DELHI || Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday tested positive for the dreaded Coronavirus. The infection was discovered during a routine test, the 71-year-old Naidu however is asymptomatic.

Following this, he has gone into home quarantine and continues to be "in good health". "The Vice President of India who underwent a routine COVID-19 test today morning has been tested positive.

He is however, asymptomatic and in good health. He has been advised home quarantine. His wife Smt. Usha Naidu has been tested negative and is in self-isolation," a tweet from his office informed.
