Three Indian Army Troopers Martyred In Rajouri, Two Terrorists Also Killed

New Delhi/Srinagar, August 11 (TNA) On a day when sisters across the country were tying the holy thread - Rakhi, on the wrist of their brothers, life of three Indian Army personnel was snapped in a pre-dawn attack on an army camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri.

Two terrorists, who were trying to scale a fence to enter the army camp, were however shot dead. "Subedar Rajendra Prasad, Rifleman Manoj Kumar and Rifleman Lakshmanan D succumbed to their injuries making the supreme sacrifice while neutralising 2 terrorists on a suicide attack. We condole their loss and pray for strength for their family member," the army's White Knight Corps tweeted.
