‘The Kashmir Files’ Director Vivek Agnihotri Gets Y-Plus Security

New Delhi, March 18 (TNA) The government of India has provided Y-plus security cover to acclaimed film director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri. The move comes in wake of several threats to his life after the release of his directorial film ‘The Kashmir Files’. An official said that the decision was taken by the union home ministry after a review of the threat perception to Agnihotri.

The film Kashmir Files is creating waves across the country, with many in the political establishment also lauding the film and the subject which shows genocide of Kashmiri pandits. The film has been given tax free status in seven states so far.
