Retired BSF DG Pankaj Kumar Singh Appointed Deputy National Security Advisor

New Delhi, January 18 (TNA) Retired DG of the Border Security Force (BSF) Pankaj Kumar Singh has been appointed by the government of India as the deputy National Security Advisor (NSA) of the country. A 1988 batch IPS officer of Rajasthan cadre, he has been appointed on re-employment contract for a period of two years.

Singh retired as BSF chief on 31 December 2022. When Singh took charge of the BSF on August 31, 2021, he created history as a son and a father held the top rank of the paramilitary force during his services.
