PM Pays Last Respects To Gen Bipin Rawat, His Wife And Others
New Delhi, December 10 (TNA) Prime Minister Narendra Modi late on Thursday paid last respects to Gen Bipin Rawat, his wife and other personnel of the Armed Forces, who were killed in a chopper crash in Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor district over the Nilgiri hills on Wednesday.
In a tweet the Prime Minister said: "Paid my last respects to Gen Bipin Rawat, his wife and other personnel of the Armed Forces. India will never forget their rich contribution."
It was a sombre moment as the PM walked into a hanger at the Palam airport where the coffins of the victims. Families of those killed were also present.
