PM Narendra Modi Takes First Shot Of Coronavirus Vaccine
New Delhi, March 1 (TNA) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday took the first shot of the Coronavirus vaccine at the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
"Remarkable how our doctors and scientists have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19," PM Modi tweeted as he shared an image of himself taking first dose of the vaccine.
PM Modi also appealed to all those who are eligible to take the vaccine. "Together, let us make India COVID-19 free," he said. From today, people above 45 with conditions like diabetes, kidney ailments, liver diseases, cardiac risks, along with people above 60 years of age will be given the vaccine.
