PM Modi Urges People To Find Padma Award Candidates Doing Exceptional Work At Grassroots

New Delhi, July 11 (TNA) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged people to find those doing exception work at the grassroots and name them for the forthcoming prestigious Padma awards.

In a Tweet, the prime minister said: Often, we don’t see or hear much of them. Do you know such inspiring people? You can nominate them for the #PeoplesPadma. Nominations are open till 15th September.

PM Modi's government has been encouraging people to dig out the names of those who are silently working in various spheres of life. Small’ steps bring big changes…case in point being how we reformed the process of Padma Awards & recognised those working silently, he has been propagating.
