Shirdi, April 05 (TNA) In a spiritually significant move, Palash Muchhal has announced his upcoming film Tera Sai at the sacred Shirdi Sai Baba Temple. Instead of a conventional launch, the filmmaker sought blessings at the temple, marking the beginning of the project on a devotional note. He shared glimpses of the visit on social media, where he was seen offering prayers within the temple premises.

Accompanying him on this special occasion was acclaimed actor Sanjay Mishra, who will play the central role in the film. In his post, Muchhal expressed that the journey of Tera Sai has begun with divine blessings and described the film as more than just a cinematic venture-it is a heartfelt story rooted in faith and devotion.

The film’s biggest highlight is its casting, with Mishra stepping into the role of Sai Baba of Shirdi, a revered spiritual figure. During the announcement, Bhimraj Darade, Deputy CEO of the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, was also present. Muchhal unveiled a striking black-and-white poster of the film, hinting at its intense and soulful narrative. The film is expected to hit theatres by the end of 2026.

Meanwhile, Muchhal has also been in the news for personal reasons. His reported wedding to Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana in 2025 was called off amid controversy. Rumours of alleged infidelity surfaced online, though they were later denied by those involved.
