Mafia Don Ashraf Ahmad’s brother-in-law Saddam Arrested In Delhi, Carried A Rs One Lakh Reward

New Delhi, Sep 28 (TNA) Brother-in-law of deceased mafia don Ashraf Ahmad - Saddam was on Thursday arrested in the union capital where he had come to meet his irl friend. Saddam was absconding for more than 6 months and the UP police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head, as an accused in the Umesh Pal murder case.

A team of the UP Special Task Force (STF) led by SySP Abdul Qadir made the arrest from Malviyanagar. A case was registered against Saddam in Bithri Chainpur police station for illegally meeting Ashraf in jail and providing him facilities.

On February 24 this year, Umesh Pal was murdered outside his house in Prayagraj. Umesh Pal was a witness in the Raju Pal murder case. The allegation of Umesh Pal murder case was directly placed on mafia Atiq Ahmed and his henchmen. The police were still investigating Atiq's role when on April 15, three shooters gunned down Atiq and his brother Ashraf Ahmed. However, many accused in the Umesh Pal murder case are still absconding and the police is in hot pursuit of them.
