Karwachauth Celebrated Across India With Tradition Fervor, Celebrities Post Pics On Social Media

Lucknow, November 2 (TNA) The Hindu festival of Karvachauth, in which married women fast the whole day for long life of their husbands, was celebrated across India with traditional fervour on Wednesday. As they waited for the moon to show up to end their fast, men in the family assisted the ladies and waited for them for dinner.

Many Bollywood personalities and celebrities shared pictures of the moon sighting with their spouses, on social media accounts, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, Katraina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal shared beautiful pictures on social media on occasion of Karwa Chauth.

Anita Singh, wife of jailed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh also shared pictures of her festive rituals on X, formerly Twitter. She added that while Singh was always with him for the past 30 years, this time he was in Tihar jail and that her mind was upset because of this but she would pray for her husbands health and long life and also continue to stand by her husband, who, she added, was a “honest politician”.
