India Suspends Flight Operations At 11 Airports Amid Airstrike Tensions, School Closed In J&K, Punjab And Rajasthan

New Delhi, May 7 (TNA) Following an airstrike on Pakistan, India has suspended flight operations at 11 airports across seven states, including Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Chandigarh, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Rajkot, Dharamshala, Amritsar, Bhuj, and Jamnagar. These airports are located near the Pakistan border.

Air India, Indigo, and SpiceJet have issued advisories for passengers. Air India announced on X that flights to Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh, and Rajkot are canceled until noon, with two international flights from Amritsar diverted to Delhi.

Schools and educational institutions in affected districts of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan are closed.
