Following More Cases Of COVID Strain, Ban On Flights From UK Extended To January 7

New Delhi, December 30 (TNA) In view of new cases of the new strains of Coronavirus in India, the government has extended the ban on flights to and from the United Kingdom till January 7. This ban was earlier till only December 31.

Because of the new strain of Corona, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has decided that now air services from Britain will be banned till 7 January, an official said on Wednesday.

So far 20 people have been infected with the new strain of Corona virus started from Britain. The Health Ministry said that all the people had returned from Britain.

On Tuesday, 6 new strain patients were found in India, whose number has increased to 20. Three are from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. All of them are from a family.
