Flights Between UK-India Resume, Plane With 256 Passengers Lands In New Delhi

New Delhi, January 8 (TNA) Flights between India and the United Kingdom, which had been stopped owing to the concerns over a new strain of the deadly Coronavirus, have resumed, an official said on Friday. Following this, a flight from Britain arrived in the union capital on Friday morning.

Flights between the United Kingdom and India, which had been suspended since the last week of December amid the new coronavirus strain concerns, resumed on Friday, an official said while informing that a flight from the UK with 256 passengers on board landed in New Delhi at 10:30 in the morning.

All the passengers, were as per protocol tested, and will be quarantined if found positive. All necessary precautions are being taken, it was informed further.
