Fans And Industry Mourn the Untimely Demise Of Malayalam Actor and Mimicry Artist Kalabhavan Navas
Kochi, August 2 (TNA) Malayalam cinema and comedy mourn the sudden loss of beloved actor and mimicry artist Kalabhavan Navas, who died on Friday, at the age of 51. Navas was found unresponsive in his hotel room in Chottanikkara, Kochi, while shooting for the film Prakambanam. He was rushed to SD Tata Hospital, where he was declared dead. Preliminary police reports suggest the cause of death to be cardiac arrest, with no suspicious circumstances involved.
Navas was widely admired for his comic timing and versatility, having acted in numerous Malayalam films like Hitler Brothers, Junior Mandrake, and Detective Ujjwalan. Industry colleagues and fans flooded social media with tributes, expressing shock and grief over his untimely demise. Actor Rony David Raj, co-star of Detective Ujjwalan, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, praising Navas’s talent and warm personality.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and other dignitaries extended condolences to the family and the film fraternity. Kalabhavan Navas is survived by his wife and three children. His legacy as a gifted performer and beloved figure in Malayalam entertainment will be fondly remembered.
