Eminent Mathematician Mangala Narlikar Dies Of Cancer

Pune, July 17 (TNA) Senior mathematician and author Mangala Narlikar passed away on Monday due to cancer in Pune. Narlikar received a master's degree in mathematics with a gold medal and a PhD in analytical number theory.

She initially worked at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai, after which he worked as a lecturer at the University of Bombay and Pune. She was very good at explaining mathematics in simple language, and also has many books and research papers to her credit.
