Early Morning Earthquake Jolts Jaipur, Measured 4.4 On The Richter Scale

Jaipur, July 21 (TNA) Residents of the pink city were jolted in the wee hours of Friday as an earthquake struck three times, forcing people out of their homes and triggering panic. The intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale was 4.4.

Earthquake tremors occurred three times in a row. The first tremor was felt at 4.09 am, the second at 4.23 am and the third one hit at 4.25 am. People were also seen asking each other's well-being on the streets.

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje tweeted about the development and enquired of everyone's safety. Initial reports suggest no damage to property or loss of life.
