Mumbai, September 30 (TNA) Drishyam 3, the highly anticipated final chapter in the acclaimed crime thriller series, has officially gone on floors with shooting now underway in Kerala. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal returns as Georgekutty, while Jeethu Joseph once again directs the film, which will follow up on the unresolved threads of the previous instalments.

The Hindi adaptation, headlined by Ajay Devgn and directed by Abhishek Pathak, is set to begin filming on October 2, 2025, in Mumbai, mirroring the Malayalam shoot schedule for a pan-India release strategy.

Production Updates

• Drishyam 3 began filming in Kerala in late September 2025, with a traditional pooja at the SN Law College in Kochi. Mohanlal, Jeethu Joseph, and producer Antony Perumbavoor marked the occasion together as the original cast reunited for the next chapter.

• The Hindi version, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Akshaye Khanna, will be shot simultaneously, with an expected marathon shooting schedule running through the next few months.

Storyline and Features

• The third part will delve deeper into Georgekutty’s family life and the consequences they face after the events of Drishyam 2. Director Jeethu Joseph stated the focus will be on family drama rather than a pure thriller, continuing the saga of a man who goes to great lengths to protect his loved ones
