New Delhi, July 12 (TNA) A high-level delegation from the Boeing India, led by Praveena Yagnambhat, accompanied by Nicola-Jane Bates and Kunwoo Yoo, visited Sulabh Campus in the union capital on Monday, an official said. The guests were welcomed Bindeshwar Pathak, Founder, Social Sanitation, Social Reform, Health & Hygiene and Human Rights Movement.

They visited the Sulabh Public School, where they keenly observed the activities of Sanitation Club, Computer Lab, Library and Classrooms. The guests interacted with the students and gave them some quick lessons. They were highly impressed with the quality of the school facilities and suggested ways and means for further improvement.

Sulabh takes pride in mentioning that the guests showed keen interest in visiting the Museum of Toilets, which has a rare collection of unique artifacts, pictures and objects, detailing the eye-opening, historic evolution of toilets from 2500 BC to date.

Kunwoo Yoo, a South Korean national, was amazed to find certain very interesting information relating to his country, which even he was not aware of earlier. The Founder himself explained to them the minute details of Sulabh’s innovative technology-based twin-pit pour-flush toilets, Public toilet linked biogas plant and the kitchen, using methane of the biogas plant as fuel.

The delegation was also highly impressed by his arduous journey of 52 years of hardship, struggle and ultimately glorious triumphs that changed the health, hygiene and sanitation scenario of the country. He thanked the Boeing for supporting the efforts of Sulabh, over the years. The delegation was positive that the Boeing and the Sulabh would certainly have a very close association in future as well.
