Any Future Terror Attack Will Be Treated as Act of War: India

New Delhi, May 10 (TNA) The Indian government on Saturday issued a stern warning, stating that any future terrorist attack on Indian soil will be treated as an "Act of War." The response to such attacks will be equally robust and decisive.

This declaration comes in the wake of "Operation Sindoor" carried out on May 7, where Indian forces neutralized over 100 terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). According to intelligence sources, five key terrorists killed in the operation have been identified as Abu Jundal, Hafiz Muhammad Jameel, Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, Mohammad Saleem, Ghosi Sahab, and Mohammad Hasan Khan. Notably, Yusuf was the mastermind behind the Kandahar hijacking, while Jundal was involved in the Mumbai attacks.

Earlier, on April 22, following the Pahalgam attack, India targeted nine terrorist hideouts with missiles. However, it remains unclear whether the five terrorists were killed together or separately. The government’s strong stance signals a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism.
