Amit Shah Admitted To AIIMS For "Complete Medical Check-Up"

NEW DELHI || Union home minister Amit Shah has been admitted to the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a "complete medical check up before the parliament session for 1-2 days", officials said on Sunday. Speculation has been rife about the health of the minister ever since he was rushed to the premiere medical institute late last night.

There were reports that the union home minister was admitted to AIIMS after developing problems in breathing. He had contracted the deadly Coronavirus last month and has been in and out of the hospital in the past on month.

Prof Aarti Vij, chairperson of the Media and protocol Division of the AIIMS on Sunday however issued a statement saying that the minister had been admitted "as per advise given at discharge". She further pointed out that AmitS hah, was discharged from AIIMS, New Delhi after post-COVD care on August 20.

The statement went on to say : As per advise given at discharge he has now been admitted for complete medical check up before the Parliament session for 1-2 day.
