Air-Conditioned First Aid Centre To Be Inaugurated Near Jagannath Temple In Puri On April 14

Puri, April 7 (TNA) For the first time in Odisha, an air conditioned first aid centre is coming up near Shri Jagannath temple in Puri. The centre will be inaugurated on the Odia New Year day on April 14.

The first aid centre will be set up in an air conditioned inter-modal container near the temple. This centre will cater to the medical emergencies of devotees, visitors along with sevaks and temple officials. In case of an emergency, there will be a provision to move the patients to a hospital as well.

This centre will be managed by adequate medical staff and stocked up with sufficient medical supplies with the help of district headquarter hospital, an official said. For smooth operation of the first aid centre, one nodal officer will be appointed by CDMO and the temple office.

This first aid centre has been facilitated by chief administrator of SJTA, Dr Krishan Kumar.
