200 Passengers Screened At Indian Airports Have Tested Positive For Corona BF.7 Variant: Minister

New Delhi, January 12 (TNA) Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has informed that during random sampling at international airports, more than 200 air passengers were found to be Corona positive. BF.7 variants have been confirmed in many of these samples.

On the sidelines of the release of a book, Mandaviya said, "More than 15 lakh air passengers were tested for corona. Out of which more than 200 passengers were found to be Corona positive. Their samples sent for genome sequencing revealed that many passengers had the BF.7 subvariant. Our vaccines are effective against the BF.7 variant” he added further.
