LUCKNOW || Undignified assailants shot an office bearer of the Kabeer Mutt in the state capital on Monday morning, a police official said. Dhirendra Das, in Daliganj at around 10:30 am was shot from close range. He has since been admitted to the trauma centre of the King George's Medical University (KGMU).
Prima facie it appears that some people who had come to book the Kabeer Mutt for a wedding opened fire on him. This is the second time an attempt on his life has bene made. The earlier one was in 2015, an official informed.
