US President Biden Signs Executive Order To 'Re-enter' Paris Agreement

Washington, January 21 (TNA) Newly sworn US president Joe Biden has got down to business as soon as he was sworn in as the 46th state head of world's oldest democracy.

According to the White House, President Biden has signed an executive order to "rejoin the Paris Agreement". The Trump administration had pulled out of the International Treaty.

The statement from the White House further said "our administration will send a letter to the United Nations, and we will formally 're-enter' thirty days later". It also said that "our nation will be back in position to exercise global leadership in advancing the objectives of the Agreement, including keeping the world at a safe temperature".
