US Launches Large-Scale Strikes On Yemen, Killing At Least 24, Trump Warns Houthis And Iran
Washington, March 16 (TNA) At least 24 people were killed as the United States carried out large-scale airstrikes on Yemen, targeting Iran-aligned Houthi rebels. President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to the group, stating that "their time is up." He also urged Iran to "immediately" cease its support for the Houthis.
Eyewitnesses described the explosions as violent, shaking neighborhoods like an earthquake and instilling fear among civilians. "They terrified our women and children," one resident reported.
The Houthis' political bureau condemned the attack as a "war crime" and declared that Yemen's armed forces are "fully prepared to respond to escalation with escalation." The strikes mark the first major military action in Yemen since Trump took office in January.
