Sulabh Founder Bindeshwar Pathak Meets Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf

Stockholm, Sep 2 (TNA) The Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf, who supports the Stockholm Water Prize Organisation, this week gave audience in Stockholm to Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Founder, Sulabh Sanitation, Social Reform and Human Rights Movement.

Pathak is also the Water Laureate and the winner of Stockholm Water Prize in 2009. Dr. Pathak welcomed the King by offering shawl and books written by him. He showed him the water being cleaned from the ponds of Madhusudankati village in West Bengal and also from the wells of Iskcon-Haridaspur.

Dr. Pathak is returning to India on Saturday, after successful participation in the Stockholm Water Laureate Prize of this year, an official informed.
