Maharashtra Secures ₹9.3L Crore Investments At World Economic Forum In Davos
Davos, January 22 (TNA) Maharashtra has made significant strides in attracting investments at the World Economic Forum in Davos, securing over ₹9.30 lakh crore through numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). Led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the state signed 31 MoUs on the first day alone, with a highlight being a ₹3.05 lakh crore deal with Reliance Industries Ltd.
These investments span across sectors like renewable energy, technology, infrastructure, and manufacturing, aiming to create over 300,000 jobs. The focus is on sustainable development, with emphasis on green energy, smart infrastructure, and advanced technology, positioning Maharashtra as a pivotal player in India's economic landscape, with aspirations to become a $1 trillion economy by 2028-30.
