Legendary Brazil Footballer Pele Dies Of Colon Cancer, Was 82

Sao Paulo, December 30 (TNA) Legendary footballer Pele has died at the age of 82. He was suffering from colon cancer and the end came at the Albert Einstein hospital in Morumbi, south of Sao Paulo. Brazil's legendary three-time World Cup-Winning footballer was widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.

"Everything we are is thanks to you. We love you infinitely. Rest in peace," daughter Kely Nascimento wrote on Instagram. The legendary footballer had been battling colon cancer and was admitted in a hospital for a respiratory problem on November 29.

He cheered for the Brazilian team during the recently concluded FIFA World Cup in Qatar from the hospital bed. Tributes poured in from the entire football fraternity and his fans.
