Khaled Ait Taleb Named Moroccan Minister Of Health And Social Protection

Rabat, Oct 14 (TNA) The Moroccan king Mohammed VI on Thursday appointed Khaled Ait Taleb as Minister of Health and Social Protection, succeeding Nabila Al-Rumaili. The appointment was made in accordance with the provisions of article 47 of the Constitution, and on the proposal of the Head of Government.

The Prime Minister had ’proposed to terminate the government functions of Al-Rmili, who has now been asked to devote herself fully to her duties as Mayor of the city of Casablanca, the economic hub par excellence of the Kingdom.

The royal decision to rename Khalid Ait Taleb to his former functions of Minister of Health is part of the continuity and the pursuit of the major projects initiated by His Majesty The King, in the field of health for the well-being and health security of the population, in particular in the context of the management of the Covid-19 pandemic, a statement said.
