Joe Biden Sworn In As US President, Kamala Harris As Vice-President

Washington, January 20 (TNA) Democrat candidate Joe Biden was on Wednesday sworn in as the 46th president of the United States. It also brought an end to the eventful and controversial four-year term of Donald Trump, who left for Florida, three hours before the inauguration of Biden.

Biden, 78, was administered the oath of office by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. Kamala Harris also administered the oath as the vice-president of the United States of America. She is the first woman VP of the USA. She comes from Indian-Jamaican parentage.
