Hamas Releases Three Hostages, Red Cross Hands Them To The Israeli Military In Gaza
Tel Aviv, January 19 (TNA) Terror group Hamas has released three Israeli hostages in Gaza, handing them over to the Red Cross for transfer to Israel, the Israeli military confirmed. The hostages were identified as 31-year-old Doron Steinbrecher, 28-year-old dual British-Israeli Emily Damari, and 24-year-old Romi Gonen.
Hamas announced that for every hostage released, 30 Palestinian prisoners would be freed from Israeli custody. This release comes as the long-anticipated ceasefire in Gaza takes effect following a delay. Displaced Palestinians have started returning to their homes, bringing hope for a pause in hostilities.
