Coronavirus Continues To Wreck Havoc In USA, 3,000 Plus Deaths In A Single Day

Washington, December 4 (TNA) The Coronavirus pandemic continues to wreck havoc in the United States of America (USA) and death toll is climbing up to record levels with every passing day. In the past 24-hours, the world's most powerful nation has witnessed 3,157 deaths due to COVID, an official said on Friday. So far April had the highest death toll in a single day. This figure is 20 percent more than that.

Meanwhile, the American Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has revised its guidelines regarding the time period quarantined during corona infection. The CDC has reduced the quarantine stay in the US from 14 days to 10 days.

However, this will depend on the outcome and symptoms of the patient's examination. According to the report, if a patient does not have any symptoms, then he will need to stay in quarantine for only 10 days without a test. If the test report is negative, the time period will be reduced to seven days.

So far more than 2.73 lakh people have perished to the deadly virus. Robert Redfield, director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, says December, January, and February are set to be the most difficult times in the history of America's health services.
