Blast At Chemical Park In German City Kills Two, Thirty Injured

Leverkusen, July 28 (TNA) Two persons were killed and and five others are missing after an explosion at a chemical park in the German city of Leverkusen, media reports say. As manya s thirty people have been injured in the blast of which condition of three is stated to be critical.

While the local authorities have attributed no reason so far for the incident, they aid they were probing what could have triggered the blast.

Leverkusen is a city in the western North Rhine-Westphalia region and is home to Bayer, one of Germany's biggest chemical companies. While no toxicity has been found in the air, authorities have advised nearby residents to avoid opening of doors and windows and be cautious while stepping side their houses after coming from outdoors.
