Balochistan Appreciates India for Refusing To Sign SCO Joint Statement

1 min read

New Delhi, June 27 (TNA) In a powerful statement, the people of Balochistan have lauded India’s principled stance at the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, expressing deep gratitude to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for refusing to endorse a resolution that falsely linked Balochistan’s legitimate struggle for self-determination with terrorism.

Baloch representatives condemned the SCO’s silence on Pakistan’s unlawful 77-year occupation of Balochistan and China's exploitative economic and military involvement, calling it a breach of global integrity. They accused Pakistan and China of systematic human rights violations and ethnic cleansing in the region.

Citing the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, allegedly orchestrated by Pakistani military agencies, the statement criticized the SCO’s failure to denounce such acts as implicit support for state-sponsored terrorism.

Balochistan reaffirmed its peaceful values and civilizational ties with India, urging stronger cooperation to counter regional threats from Pakistan and China’s coercive agenda.
