Navy Children's School Sets Up Indoor Strengthening And Play Arena

New Delhi, April 16 (TNA) Navy Children School, Karwar has added a new chapter in its journey towards providing overall quality education by setting-up a unique “Indoor Strengthening and Play Arena”. The facility was inaugurated by Goolrukh Anand, President NWWA, Karnataka Naval Area in presence of Rear Admiral Atul Anand, Flag Officer Commanding Karnataka Naval Area and other senior functionaries of NWWA, staff and students of the school.

The facility was conceptualised to provide all weather and all-round physical development to students and inculcate qualities of team building, morale, leadership, confidence, trust among classmates and esprit-de-corps. The arena is designed on the lines of obstacle course of the military training curriculum, with varying difficulty levels to provide gradual and progressive development of physical and neuromotor skills.

The facility will be very useful in getting students back to active physical life from the virtual world of mobile phones, which has become a major challenge due to increased screen time access especially in the last two years.
