Youth Shot Dead In Prayagraj, Doctor Accused Of The Murder

Prayagraj, August 30 (TNA) A youth was shot dead at a hospital in Tharavai area of Ganganagar on Wednesday. The youth's father is said to be an inspector in the police department. After the incident, a hospital doctor was seen running away with slippers on only one foot.

The incident happened at 10 am near Bhunsa Mandi number 40 Gumti of Tharavai police station area. The incident took place at Jan Kalyan Hospital. After the incident, a doctor was seen running in a delirious condition wearing slippers on one leg.

After the incident, a huge crowd gathered in the hospital. After getting the information, the relatives have also reached the hospital. The deceased Pankaj Yadav (27) is son of Badri Prasad Yadav and, resident of Saraichandi village of Tharavai, who lived in Teliarganj area of the city. He went to the public welfare hospital at number 40 Gumti in Tharavai area on Wednesday at around 10 am.

This hospital is run by Dr. Rohit Sharma. Rohit is a government doctor and he is currently posted in the city government hospital. According to the local people, Pankaj Yadav went inside the hospital and a loud sound of gunfire was heard soon after.

Pankaj was immediately sent to SRN Hospital. After getting the information, the relatives also reached the hospital. It is not clear who fired the bullet. The reality of the incident can be revealed only after the doctor is apprehende, a police official said.
