Lucknow, January 3 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has advised the Indian Police Service officers (IPS) of 2021 and 22 batch to work in public interest without any discrimination. He also said that they should be deployed with Police Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police for at least three months, so that these officers can learn how to work in coordination with the public and the department.

During the meeting with the probationary police officers at his residence on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that they should be compulsorily informed about the functioning of the police station, coordination with the circle and the functioning of the police line.

Strong security and law and order are necessary for development, he added. Uttar Pradesh has become the best place in the country in terms of law and order. Due to this, investments are coming into Uttar Pradesh from across the country and the world. He said that the ability to communicate with the public makes officers successful.

Even the biggest challenges can be faced through dialogue, your simple behavior of the police with the public is most important. The new officers will serve for 30-35 years. The last five to 10 years of your job will be important, so you will have to maintain your integrity at all costs, the saffron-robed chief minister added.
