Yogi Asks Officials To Ensure Uninterrupted Power Supply In All 75 Districts

Lucknow, May 2 (TNA) With power cuts reported from many parts of the state, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday issued directions to the power officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply as per roster in all 75 districts. All possible help is being given from the central government, he added and informed that Rail as well as road should be used for transportation of coal from mines to power plants.

There is a huge need for reforms in the energy sector. Action plan should be prepared keeping in view the future energy needs. Efforts should be made to make comprehensive changes at every level by the departmental minister after thoroughly reviewing the functioning of the department, the saffron-robed chief minister further said.
