Yogi Adityanath To Kickstart School Chalo Campaign Today
Lucknow, April 1 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath today will kickstart the ‘School Chalo’ campaign from the state capital. The event will be telecast live in every block. Through this campaign, maximum enrollment of children in schools from class one to eight will be encouraged.
In the last four years, the state government has made efforts with commitment to bring back the children who have dropped out of school. It has also been successful in enrolling many children in schools.
Despite this, according to the Asar-2022 survey, 3.5 percent of children in the age group of 7 to 16 years are still not enrolled. In this session, the government will try to bring these children back to school as part of the campaign.
DG School Education Vijay Kiran Anand told that efforts are being made to bring back the remaining children. Four lakh children have been identified. In the School Chalo Abhiyan, programs will be organized in model schools in aspirational blocks.
During this, the in-charge minister and people's representative will be present there. Shiksha Chaupal will also be organized in the villages. PTM and SMC meeting will be organized.
