Yogi Adityanath Greets People On Diwali, Seeks Adherence Of COVID Protocol
Lucknow, November 13 (TNA) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has wished Diwali to the people of the state. In his message released on Friday, the Chief Minister wished the people happiness and prosperity. Yogi Adityanath has also appealed to to people not to let caution go to the wind in view of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
The Chief Minister in his message said that Deepawali is the festival of victory of light over darkness, truth over truth and triumph of religion over unrighteousness. It is also a celebration of simplicity and goodwill victory over treachery and bitterness, he further stated.
Lord Sri Rama returned to Ayodhya on this day along with Mother Goddess Sita and Lakshman ji after the victory in Lanka, ending 14 years of exile. The people of Ayodhya, to celebrate the momentous occasion had observed the dark night of Amavas with the light of the lamps.
This festival of light brings alive that tradition. The Chief Minister said that the state government is working to make the whole world aware of the glory of Ayodhya by restoring the glorious tradition of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram in the city of Ayodhya through Deepotsav.
On the occasion of Deepawali, CM has especially appealed to the Corona for rescue and vigilance. The Chief Minister has also instructed the government departments to be prepared to deal with every situation and to strictly follow the COVID-19 protocol in the markets and public places.
