Yogi Adityanath, Congress Leader Aradhana Misra Mona Greet People On The Birth Anniversary Of Hazrat Ali

Lucknow, February 25 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has greeted the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali. He called upon people to maintain the Covid protocol and social distancing norms while celebrating the occasion.

Leader of The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in the State Assembly, Aradhana Mishra has also wished the people on the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali.

In a message issued on Thursday, the Congress leader said the message of Hazrat Ali with regards to social harmony, love and brotherhood was relevant even today.

Hazrat Ali's birthday honours the day of the birth of Ali ibn Abu Talib in the month of February this year. Hazrat Ali is believed to be the son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad.

He is also considered the first Imam by the Shia Muslims, therefore, known as Imam Ali's birthday as well. Hazrat Ali is held in very high regard among Muslim populations.

Hazrat Ali born in the holiest place of Islam, Mecca, is considered an extremely important person among Muslims globally. Hazrat Ali was the first male to embrace Islam as his religious path and Muhammad as the Prophet of God.
