Yoga Sessions Held At Agra Metro Depot And Taj Mahal Metro Station On International Yoga Day

Agra, June 21 (TNA) Enriching Yoga sessions were held at Agra Metro Depot (Workshop) and Taj Mahal Metro Station on the occasion of International Yoga Day 2025 on Saturday. On this occasion, Chairman of Footwear and Leather Business Development Council, Puran Dawar, Director of Prelude Public School, Sushil Gupta and other senior officials of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation performed yoga at Taj Mahal Metro Station.

The Yoga and Meditation session was conducted by Art of Living Yoga instructors (State Teacher Coordinators) Dr. Rashmi Mishra and Ruchira Dhal. Similarly, at the Agra Metro Depot Workshop Building, a large number of Agra Metro and UPSSF officials also performed yoga.

Yoga teacher Indra Singh and Yoga teacher Lavkesh Sehra, associated with Patanjali Sansthan, demonstrated various yoga asanas and also explained the benefits of each activity. On this occasion, Agra Metro Project Director Arvind Rai also participated in the session and gave the message of doing yoga daily to everyone.

On International Yoga Day, members of the Art of Living Foundation, Agra Metro officials and UPSSF officials learned yoga activities, meditation and techniques to relieve stress through Yoga. Various yoga sessions were organised by UPMRC in Agra, Kanpur and Lucknow under this year's theme 'One Earth One Health'.
