Women Gang Targetting Elderly In Lucknow Busted, Five Arrested

Lucknow, January 14 (TNA) The Talkatora police in Lucknow, on a tip off by an informer, has nabbed five women and a man of a gang who used to steal money an elderly person who had taken out money from a bank from near Madhuban Marriage Lawn. Police also recovered fourteen thousand three hundred rupees and an auto from them.

Syed Fazil Hussain Zaidi, a resident of Balaganj Sarfarazganj, had gone to the Punjab National Bank, Rajajipuram D Block, to withdraw money on January 11. Where some unidentified women stole cash worth Rs 50 thousand from the pocket.

Zaidi had filed a case in Talkatora police station regarding the incident. Whose Talkatora police was investigating and a suspicious auto (UP32 JN9402) was seen in the CCTV footage. Based on which the Talkatora police arrested Kaso, Sharmila, Roma, Hina, Karishma.

During interrogation, the women told the cops that by going to crowded areas and markets and banks, they used to do steal money by luring the elderly.
