With Two More, Lucknow Now Boasts Of 54 Police Stations
Lucknow, April 21 (TNA) With the addition of two police stations (Mahigwan and Cyber Crime Thana) in Lucknow, the number of police stations in Lucknow Police Commissionerate has increased from 52 to 54. After getting the approval of UP DGP in this regard, an order has also been issued by Lucknow Police Commissioner Amarendra Kumar Sengar.
Till now there were 52 police stations, but after Mahigwan police station became a new station and Cyber Crime Thana came under Lucknow Police Commissionerate, now the number of police stations has increased to 54. After this, Mahigwan will be a part of the Northern Zone and Cyber Crime Thana will be a part of the Eastern Zone. The Western Zone includes 4 circles and 12 police stations. Chowk Circle will include Chowk, Thakurganj and Wazirganj police stations.
Whereas Bazarkhaala Circle includes Saadatganj, Bazarkhaala and Talkatora police stations. Kaiserbagh, Aminabad and Naka police stations will come in Kaiserbad Circle. Kakori, Dubagga and Para police stations have been included in Kakori Circle. Similarly, 3 circles and 11 police stations will come in the Central Zone. Hazratganj Circle includes Hazratganj, Hussainganj, Gautampalli and Mahila Thana.
Cantt Circle includes Cantt, Alambagh, Ashiana and Manaknagar Police Station. Mahanagar Circle includes Mahanagar Police Station, Hasanganj Police Station and Madeyganj Police Station.
