With Floods Hitting Etawah-Auraiyya Big Time, Yogi To Conduct And Aerial Survey Monday Afternoon
Etawah, August 9 (TNA) Many villages marooned after floods, people in Etawah, Auraiiya and neighbouring areas are crying for help and alleging that the district administration was not doing enough. To take stock of the on-ground reality, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath will be doing an aerial survey of the flood-hit villages on Monday.
After the aerial survey, the Chief Minister will hold a meeting with the officials of the district administration, an official said while informing that during the meeting, the Chief Minister will also review the relief and rescue operations being carried out in the flood affected districts.
The floods in Auraiya district have affected 24 villages of the district. The CM's helicopter will land at Gail Dibiapur on Monday at 2:30 p.m. After that the CM Yogi will reach the Kakor headquarters, where he will hold a meeting with the officials of the district administration regarding the relief and rescue work in the flood affected village.
After the Auraiya visit, the Chief Minister will conduct an aerial survey of the flood affected areas in Etawah district at 4.00 pm. The Chief Minister (CM Yogi) will also hold a meeting with officials in Etawah after the aerial survey.
Adityanath during a meeting with officials on Sunday had directed them to extend all possible help to flood affected people. Besides, he had issued instructions to the officials of flood affected areas to operate flood control rooms and monitor and patrol sensitive sites.
