Widow Of Manish Gupta Joins As OSD At Kanpur Development Authority

Kanpur, Oct 12 (TNA) Meenakshi Gupta, the widow of Manish Gupta, the Kanpur businessman who was killed during a police raid at his hotel room in Gorakhpur, joined as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) on Tuesday.

On September 30, the state government had announced that a special post of an OSD will be created at the Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) and widow of the deceased, Meenakshi Gupta will be posted there.

The proposal for this came by the chief minister himself, an official had informed. In a related development, two other absconding policemen accused in the case - sub-inspector Rahul Dubey and constable Prashant were arrested on Tuesday.

Both carried a cash reward of Rs one lakh. Two others, JN Singh and Akshay Mishra have already been arrested.
